Fresno Attachment Parenting Mommies
Yahoogroup
This is the egroup for Fresno Attachment Parenting
Mommies. If you are not familiar with attachment
parenting, check out my
AP pages.
This is a very active, very large egroup for local AP
mommies, which requires approval for membership. In
order to be approved, you simply need to feel you are
AP, be
local, and someone in our group needs to have met you in
person. This last requirement is simply a precaution
since we have a lot of personal info that goes out on
the egroup, and its possible for anyone on the internet
to request to join.

Clovis-Fresno Freecycle Yahoogroup
The Freecycle Network is established with a primary
focus towards the reducing of waste and with the goals
of helping to create community. We also hope to reduce
the habits of wastefulness and commercialism and make
recycling easy that it blends into the flow of everyday
life. So before you go out and buy that new product or
piece of equipment, stop into Clovis-Fresno Freecycle,
which is open to all those individuals, organizations,
businesses, or groups who want to recycle or donate any
item that is no longer useful to them.
Fresno Waldorf Yahoogroup
This is a discussion group
for Fresno, CA area locals who would like to discuss
Waldorf education. Since we don't have any local Waldorf
schools, anyone who wants a waldorf education for their
children will have to homeschool them, and this is a
place to discuss this and any related topics. Also,
perhaps we might want to eventually get a local Waldorf
school created.
Here's an excellent link for info on what waldorf is.

Fresno Pet Recyclers
Pet/animal specific recycle group. Rehomes are ok. All
items must be free. Adoption fees for pets are ok,
unless they are excessive prices..this is not a forum
for breeders to sell litters. This will be mainly for
offering used or unwanted/unliked pet supplies...like
that cat tree you bought and the cat just simply
ignores; unneeded or reusable items, toys and food. Keep
it simple and I won't have to moderate. Rudeness and
bickering will not be tolerated. If you are rehoming/requesting
a pet please do your research...yes people do ask for
free rats and mice for snakes...to be honest it'd be
preferable to state the purpose if that is your
intention (snakes and monitors, etc. do require food),
but it is not required. I will supply a link for an
adoption contract you may download, edit and use if you
feel the need to ensure a safe home. You can place sell
items here as well, We ask that you not receive a free
item and place it for resale.
This group is not affiliated in any way with
Freecycle. |
