Emile Campagne, Connie Kaldor--Lullaby Berceuse
This cd is in French and English. Just beautiful. I don't know what they are saying half the time, but its so soothing and gorgeous. I can't get enough of this cd.

Disney Baby Lullaby
I'm not a Disney fan. I think their movies are way too violent and intense for little kids and (other than their music), there's not a whole lot of redeeming quality to anything they produce (although as an adult I do enjoy their movies for myself.)...and don't get me started on their commercialism which is way beyond ridiculous overkill...BUT, their music is just marvelous...and this cd doesn't even sound Disney. They're all remade songs...some Disney, some not...and all wonderful. I like to listen to this cd myself to relax. Despite the gag-me album cover (Disney Babies, blech!) this cd really is great! I highly recommend it! All the artists in it sound just beautiful and there's a variety in it that is very refreshing. A good lullaby compilation cd...check it out!

Bear in the Big Blue House and More Bear in the Big Blue House--
These are 2 really great albums! Fun, catchy songs...many of which are good movement songs...most of which are just fun to sing along with or dance to. Elaborate recordings make it hard to remember the words without the cd, but a lot of fun for listening to while driving in the car!

Jim Gill--Jim Gill Sings Do Re Me on his Toe Leg Knee
Another great Jim Gill cd! As always...very silly, fun, catchy, and great movement songs!

Jim Gill--Jim Gill Sings the Sneezing Song and other Contagious Tunes
This is a really fun cd! Jim Gill is just hysterical and kids can't help but laugh when listening to his music! He also has lots of great movement songs in here. Highly recommend this guy!

Laurie Berkner--Under a Shady Tree
I stumbled upon this one at the library one day. I take out kids' music from the library all the time and at least 90% of the cds are really garbage or boring...but this one...WOW!!! This one i love soooo much that I listen to it in the car all the time, even if my daughter is not with me!! Very cute, fun songs...and yes, they're singable!! One of my favorite songs on this cd is "Running Down the Hill", which is about a flower running/skipping/rolling/etc down the hill when no one is looking...too cute!! I don't think there's a song on this cd that I don't like!

Rachel Buchman--Hello Everybody! Playsongs and Rhymes from a Toddler's World
I like this one even better than Rachel's other cd! This was the second Rachel Buchman cd I got, and its really fantastic for little tiny kiddos! There's fingerplays and cute little songs that even little babies will love!

Rachel Buchman--Sing a Song of Seasons
I found Rachel's cd purely by accident...I bought it on ebay thinking it was someone else's cd (same album name, who knew?) I am SO glad I stumbled upon it!! Its just awesome!! Rachel sings very simple, child-like songs with little or no accompaniment. Usually just an accoustic guitar or maybe some unobtrusive background percussion (not drums). Very simple, very sweet, and sooooo singable! Oh and Rachel has such a lovely voice!

Kenny Loggins--More Songs From Pooh Corner
Just as good as the original...although these songs are more flashy, less lullaby-like (several are from movies). Still awesome quiet-time music! And as always...gotta love Kenny!

Francie Dillon--"The Toy Box"
This is a dear friend of mine, who is a VERY TALENTED children's artist! I have heard Francie live on many occasions, and know her personally as a fantastic, loving, fun mother, with a bubbly, lovable personality! Her CD has fun singable songs, as well as a story that intertwines the songs...lots of fun!

Please visit Francie's website for purchase info.

Paige Stroman--"Mother & Child"

Paige found me on a websearch, emailed me and asked if I would review her lullaby album on my site if she sent me a copy of her cd...Of course I said yes! I wouldn't pass up a free cd! Plus I really love lullaby cds! Well, let me tell you...ITS FANTASTIC!!! Paige has such a sweet voice...I actually enjoy listening to it myself just for relaxation! I can't wait for her to release more cds!

Please visit Paige's website to listen to clips of some of her songs.

Dragon Tales [SOUNDTRACK]
YAAAAY! I've been waiting & hoping they'd make this album! I love the Dragon Tales show on pbs, and have always thought the songs are awesome! Apparently someone finally made the album! Very fun movement songs!

Raffi--Baby Beluga
I sing the title song to Maeven all the time...and the book that goes with the song is so cute too! Raffi is one of the greatest children's musicians of all time...and this is one of his most famous songs...you just can't not know it!! The rest of the songs are great too! Very singable for little ones.

Kenny Loggins--Return to Pooh Corner
I've had this cd a very long time & listen to it often...even before my daughter...Originally I got it because I loved the title song, plus I enjoy Kenny Loggins...luckily it turned out the entire album is fantastic! All lullabies, I have often fallen asleep to this cd. And now I sing many of these songs to Maeven...and she loves this album too!
